Dear coaches, members, and staff from the baseball community,

Can you please share with your respective organizations that the Wayne State University annual summer baseball camp is July 23 & 24 featuring members from the Detroit Tigers. For the past few years Detroit Tigers Bullpen Coach Jeff Jones has teamed up with our baseball program to host a tremendous camp for the children and teenagers of our region (ages 7-18). Coach Jones has been kind enough to invite current Tigers Brandon Inge, Austin Jackson, Rick Porcello, and Jose Valverde to participate this year. Based on availability, there maybe some other Tiger participants (TBD). The entire Wayne State baseball Coaching staff, current WSU baseball student-athletes, and area coaches will be on hand instructing with a number of baseball drills, fundamentals, and skill development tools for all participants. The Tigers always feature a fabulous question and answer segment with the campers and provide autographs. It is a one of a kind camp experience for younger Tiger Fans! Plus, campers have the opportunity to play on the field with the exact replica of Boston Red Sox Fenway Park's Green Monster featuring the old scoreboard from historic Tiger Stadium.
